EASIEST SPINACH DINNER RECIPE
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp oil
- 200 g/7 oz fresh spinach
- 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
- salt
- black pepper
- 1-2 cloves of garlic, pressed
- ¼ tsp powdered nutmeg
- 100 g/3½ oz natural cream cheese
Method:
- Heat up the oil and butter on a pan over medium heat, until the butter melts and merges with oil.
- Put the spinach into the pan and cook for a while, stirring all the time, until it starts getting soggy.
- Add lemon juice, pressed garlic and nutmeg, then season with salt and pepper. Mix well and cook for 1-2 more minutes.
- Throw the cream cheese into the pan and stir well until it merges with the spinach. Serve while still hot.
