MEATBALLS IN MUSHROOM SAUCE RECIPE
Ingredients:
Sauce:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 300 g/10½ oz mushroom
- 1 onion
- sweet pepper
- salt
- black pepper
- 500 ml/17 fl oz vegetable stock
Meatballs:
- 500 g/17½ oz minced turkey meat
- 1 onion
- 1 egg
- salt
- black pepper
- ½ tsp sweet pepper
- 2 tbsp bread crumbs
- flour
- 100 ml/3½ whipping cream
- 1 bunch of dill
Method:
- Wash and slice the mushrooms. Peel and dice one onion finely and grate the other.
- Melt the butter in a pot. Add sliced mushrooms and onion, season with salt, black and sweet pepper for taste Cook everything over medium heat, then add vegetable stock and bring to boil.
- Mix the minced meat with grated onion, egg, salt, black pepper, sweet pepper and bread crumbs. Form meatballs from created mass (dip your hands in water to prevent it from sticking), then roll them in flour
- Dip the meatballs in sauce and cook until the meat is done. Add cream and cook for few more minutes. Sprinkle with freshly chopped dill when serving.
