TRADITIONAL HOMEMADE TARTAR SAUCE
Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp natural yoghurt
- 2 gherkins, drained
- several pickled mushrooms
- ¼ bunch of chive
- ¼ bunch of parsley
- 1 small or ½ large onion
- 3 tsp horseradish
- 2 tsp sugar
- salt
- black pepper
Method:
- Finely chop the mushrooms, onion and gherkins.
- Take a medium bowl and place the diced ingredients inside. Finely chop the chive and parsley, then add them to the bowl as well.
- Add mayonnaise, yoghurt and horseradish, then sugar. Season everything with salt and pepper for taste and mix well. Keep the sauce in a sealed jar, in the fridge.
