CRUNCHY WAFFLES – BEST RECIPE – An easy to follow recipe for tasty waffles, as good as from a stand

CRUNCHY WAFFLES – BEST RECIPE


Ingredients:

  • 250 g plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 500 ml milk
  • 75 ml oil, plus extra for greasing the waffle iron
  • 2 eggs
  • a pinch of salt


Method:

  1. Separate the yolks from whites.
  2. Into the mixing bowl pour the flour, baking powder and sugar. Add milk, oil and yolks, then mix everything thoroughly.
  3. Put the whites in another bowl, add a pinch of salt and whisk it until a foam is formed. Add the newly acquired mixture to the previous ingredients and mix it again.
  4. Oil and heat up the waffle iron. Fill it with batter and cook for around 5 minutes (if the iron has lower power it should be cooking for longer, until the waffle comes out crunchy). Waffles should be served right away.
