LAYERED SALAD FOR BARBECUE RECIPE – Fast and colorful salad that will greatly enrich your table for a barbecue. Goes great with meat and as a quick snack 🙂

LAYERED SALAD FOR BARBECUE RECIPE


Ingredients:

  • 100 g/3½ oz sliced ham
  • ⅓ jar pickled mushrooms
  • 2 pickles
  • 1 bunch of chive
  • several cherry tomatoes
  • 3 tsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp capers
  • 200 g/7 oz any cheese
  • 4 tbsp greek yoghurt
  • salt
  • black pepper


Method:

  1. Start with the dressing: Pour the yoghurt into a bowl, add capers, mayonnaise, mustard and mix or blend it (so that the capers are crushed). Season with salt and pepper for taste.
  2. Grate the cheese and move it to large bowl. Pour the dressing over it, then sprinkle finely chopped chive on top.
  3. Finely slice the pickles. If the mushrooms are too big, cut them into smaller pieces, same for tomatoes.
  4. Lay down a layer of pickles, mushrooms and then tomatoes on top of the salad. Season with salt and pepper for taste. Finish off with the ham cut into small pieces.
