EGG CUTLETS – EASY DINNER RECIPE – An easy and delicious way for a meal without meat 🙂

EGG CUTLETS – EASY DINNER RECIPE


Ingredients:

  • ½ cup millet, washed
  • 375 ml/1½ cup water
  • 7 eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp bread crumbs, plus extra for breading
  • ½ bunch of parsley
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • oil


Method:

  1. Pour the water into a pot, add washed millet and boil until millet absorbs all the water (around 13-15 minutes). Set it aside to cool off.
  2. Hard-boil 6 out of 7 eggs, cool them down, then peel and chop finely.
  3. Take a large bowl and put millet inside. Add chopped eggs, the remaining, raw egg, butter, chopped parsley and bread crumbs. Season with salt and pepper for taste then mix with with your hands until everything merges.
  4. Spread some breadcrumbs on a plate, take a bit off the created mass and form a cutlet of it, then roll it in bread crumbs. Repeat until you’ve used up everything.
  5. Heat up some oil over medium heat and cook the cutlets for around 4 minutes on each side, into golden-brownish color. Put the cutlets on a plate with paper towel on it to drain the excess oil.
