EASIEST SPINACH DINNER RECIPE – Delicious, healthy meal rich in iron and without meat. It takes only few minutes to prepare 🙂

EASIEST SPINACH DINNER RECIPE


Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 200 g/7 oz fresh spinach
  • 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic, pressed
  • ¼ tsp powdered nutmeg
  • 100 g/3½ oz natural cream cheese


Method:

  1. Heat up the oil and butter on a pan over medium heat, until the butter melts and merges with oil.
  2. Put the spinach into the pan and cook for a while, stirring all the time, until it starts getting soggy.
  3. Add lemon juice, pressed garlic and nutmeg, then season with salt and pepper. Mix well and cook for 1-2 more minutes.
  4. Throw the cream cheese into the pan and stir well until it merges with the spinach. Serve while still hot.
