CABBAGE SOUP – DINNER RECIPE – Soups are nutritious and healthy meals. Today I recommend to make this delicious, cheap and simple soup



  • ½ white cabbage
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 parsley root
  • 125 ml/½ cup sour cream
  • 1 onion
  • 1 cup dry beans
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • fresh coriander, for serving


  1. Soak the beans in water and leave for few hours (can also be left for the whole night)
  2. Peel the carrot and parsley root, then grate on medium holes. Dice the onion finely. Chop the cabbage finely
  3. Take a medium sized pan and put it on medium heat. Melt the butter on it then add the carrot, parsley root and onion. Cook under a lid until the vegetables are soft
  4. Drain the beans and place them in a large pot. Fill it with water so that the beans are submerged and cook on medium heat. After 15 minutes add chopped cabbage and fried vegetables
  5. Cook everything until the beans are soft. By the end of cooking season the soup with salt and pepper to taste
  6. Take the cream and add 2-3 tbsp of the soup to it, then mix well. After that pour it back into the pot and stir well. Serve the soup with freshly chopped coriander
