FLATBREAD – HOMEMADE RECIPE – These flatbreads are incredibly easy to make and they make a perfect side to most dishes

FLATBREAD – HOMEMADE RECIPE


Ingredients:

  • 250 g/9 oz plain flour
  • 370 g/13 oz natural yoghurt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1½ tsp salt


Method:

  1. Mix the flour with baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Add the yoghurt and mix until you get a smooth dough, then leave to rest for 30 minutes.
  2. After 30 minutes preheat the pan.
  3. Divide the dough to smaller parts and roll to around 0,5 in/¼ cm thickness. The diameter should be small enough to fit on the pan surface.
  4. Fry on a dry pan until there are small brown spots on the surface and the bread becomes stiff, flip once and repeat. Flatbreads are ready for serving right away.
