ROAST SAUCE PORK CHOP RECIPE – A classic pork chop prepared with a fine sauce. Simple to follow and with great results 🙂
ROAST SAUCE PORK CHOP RECIPE
- 1 kg pork chop
- 2 onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 allspice berries
- soup stock
- 2 tbsp lard
- 1 tbsp flour
- black pepper
- Wash and dry the pork chop. Cut it into around 2 cm/1 in thin slice. Warm up the lard in a large saucepan, then fry each slice on both sides until it turns golden.
- Pour stock into the pan, just enough so that it almost covers the meat. Add sliced onion, peeled garlic, bay leaf and allspice. Simmer everything until the meat goes soft
- Season the pork with salt and pepper for taste. Mix the flour with some cold stock and add it to the pan.
Mix well, simmer few more minutes and pork chops are ready to be served, best with potatoes and a salad on the side.
