FRIED CABBAGE – EASY RECIPE – One of my favorite ways of preparing the cabbage. You can eat it both hot or cold and can serve as either a good snack or a light dinner 🙂

FRIED CABBAGE – EASY RECIPE


Ingredients:

  • 1 small cabbage
  • 2 eggs
  • bread crumbs
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • dried lovage
  • oil


Method:

  1. Wash and cut the cabbage into quarters (If you have a big cabbage cut it into more pieces)
  2. Pour 2 l/68 fl oz water in a pot, salt it and bring to boil. When it’s boiling put the cabbage in, cook it for around 4 minutes then fish the pieces out and leave in a strainer for the water to drip.
  3. Beat the eggs in a bowl and add salt, black pepper and lovage for taste. On a separate plate or bowl put some bread crumbs. Roll each cabbage quarter in beaten eggs then cover it with bread crumbs.
  4. Heat up some oil over medium heat. Fry each cabbage piece on all sides until it turns golden. They serve great as a side but also a separate dish.
