CAULIFLOWER CUTLETS – HOMEMADE RECIPE – Simple and fast to make meal using cauliflower. A great option for vegetarians 🙂

CAULIFLOWER CUTLETS – HOMEMADE RECIPE


Ingredients:

  • ½ head of cauliflower
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tbsp bread crumbs, plus extra for breading
  • 3-4 potato starch
  • ½ bunch of dill, chopped
  • salt
  • black pepper


Method:

  1. Wash the cauliflower, break into florets and cook in boiling water until they go soft. When ready, mash them with a fork.
  2. Move cauliflower into a bowl, add chopped dill, starch, bread crumbs and egg. Season with salt and pepper for taste and whisk everything well.
  3. Take a piece of the mix and form a cutlet, then cover it in bread crumbs on all sides. Repeat until you’ve used all.
  4. Heat up some oil on a pan over medium heat. Cook each cutlet on both sides until it turns golden. When taking them off the pan place on a paper towel to drain the excess oil. Serve with a side of potatoes or salad.
