NO-BAKE COCOA BISCUIT CAKE RECIPE – Tasty recipe for a cake devised by myself. Everybody in the house, even my neighbours, love it 🙂
NO-BAKE COCOA BISCUIT CAKE RECIPE
Ingredients:
- 370 g/13 oz cocoa tea biscuits
- 200 g/1 cup sugar
- 1250 ml/5 cups milk
- 250 g/9 oz butter
- 140 g/6 oz of vanilla-flavoured instant pudding
- peach slices in syrup (850 ml/29 fl oz can)
Frosting:
- 85 g/3 oz powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp hot water
Method:
- Prepare a rectangular 33x23cm/13x9in baking pan and line it with parchment paper
- Drain the peaches and dice them. Pour 250 ml of milk to a bowl and add the instant pudding to it, then whisk well.
- Put the remaining milk in a pot together with the sugar and butter, mix well and boil. Then, add the milk with pudding and stir again
- On the baking pan, lay down a layer of tea biscuits so that it covers the whole surface. Pour half of the pudding into the pan and spread it evenly. Put another layer of biscuits and rest of the pudding on top of it. Finish off with a third, last layer of biscuits
- Decorate the top with the frosting: simply mix the hot water with powdered sugar, then pour it over the cake. The cake is ready for serving after 2 hours in the fridge
