AMBROSIA CAKE – EASY RECIPE – Recipe for a cake that always comes out just right

AMBROSIA CAKE – EASY RECIPE


Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g/ 1 cup sugar
  • 175ml/ ¾ cup oil
  • 250 g/ 2 cups wheat flour
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • powdered sugar


Method:

  1. Make sure that all the ingredients are in room temperature. Grease a 28x10cm/11x4in rectangular cake pan and line it with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F
  2. Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl and add sugar, then stir until the mixture becomes white and fluffy
  3. Pour the oil into the bowl slowly, constantly mixing while doing it
  4. Finish mixing. Add the flour, vanilla extract and baking powder then whisk well, manually. Add the chocolate chips and stir again
  5. Pour the dough into the cake pan and spread it evenly. Bake for about an hour (test the cake by inserting a skewer into the center, if it comes out clean the cake is done). Use powdered sugar on top after the cake cools down
