TRADITIONAL PORK CHOP RECIPE – Classic, perfectly cooked, homemade. The best Sunday dinner, same as it always has been at my home

TRADITIONAL PORK CHOP RECIPE


Ingredients:

  • pork chop, with or without bone
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ powdered sweet pepper
  • 1 tbsp lard
  • salt
  • black pepper

Additionally:

  • flour
  • bread crumbs


Method:

  1. Use the mallet to flatten the meat on each side, until it’s about 1 cm thick overall (you can put it in a plastic food bag to make sure it won’t rip during flattening)
  2. Season both sides of the slice with salt and black pepper, then turn it in flour. Make sure it’s all covered
  3. On a separate plate place the eggs with sweet pepper, salt and black pepper, then whisk it well. Have another plate prepared with bread crumbs
  4. Cover each slice with the eggs mixture then bread crumbs, making sure it’s covered as much as possible
  5. Warm the lard on a pan, adjust the size of it to the size of the pork chop so that it fits. Fry on each side until they turn golden
