FLATBREAD – HOMEMADE RECIPE
Ingredients:
- 250 g/9 oz plain flour
- 370 g/13 oz natural yoghurt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1½ tsp salt
Method:
- Mix the flour with baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Add the yoghurt and mix until you get a smooth dough, then leave to rest for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes preheat the pan.
- Divide the dough to smaller parts and roll to around 0,5 in/¼ cm thickness. The diameter should be small enough to fit on the pan surface.
- Fry on a dry pan until there are small brown spots on the surface and the bread becomes stiff, flip once and repeat. Flatbreads are ready for serving right away.
